Potatoes. Potatoes get a bad rap but they are actually a good source of potassium, vitamin c and fibre. Just moderate your daily portion size. A closed fist is about right for your evening meal

Rolled oats. Oats are rich in soluble fibre to help lower cholesterol. They are also a low gi carb, meaning they can help you stay fuller for longer
